Don't Comply with California's Reimposed Mask Mandate

There is no rational argument against irrational policies. The only answer is: No!

As you may have already heard, would-be-dictator Gavin Newsom announced the re-imposition of a statewide in-door mask mandate, beginning Wednesday:

Last April, in my Covid Narrative: Season 2 Preview I wrote the following for December:

"December - The "New Normal" - Either this will be the last gasp of the Covid Hysteria or it truly will be a “New Normal”. By now it will be hard for the narrative to hide the fact that Covid is an endemic virus, just part of the annual, cold & flu season....

...Be that as it may, Californian's will still be celebrating 2022 with masks on.

Newson's HHS Secretary gives the rationale that cases have increased nearly 50% since Thanksgiving, which he blames particularly in areas with low vaccination rates, as well over the ever present excuse of "Omicron'' for why this statewide mandate is needed.

BREAKING: From Dec. 15-Jan. 15, CA will require indoor universal masking statewide. This is due to 47% increase in COVID case rates across CA since Thanksgiving — esp in areas w/ low vaccination rates — & Omicron, says Health and Human Services Secretary Dr. Mark Ghaly.

Moreover, is that little blip really the issue of unvaccinated counties? Here's what 90% (of the total population) Marin County looks like:

So what's the real rationale?

Many of the blue counties in the state already have similar local mandates so this may be nothing more than a cynical move to keep the renegade counties from acting as a do nothing control group during this winter's wave.

So what should we California's do?  The answer for these renegade counties is simple. Do Not Comply!

We can argue until we are blue in the face over the inefficacy of masks, the lack of utility in preventing spread of an endemic virus, or the issues of personal liberty, but that's not the point.

There is no rational argument against irrational policies. The only answer is: No!

The only reason my county of El Dorado, and other reddish counties in California like us don't currently have a mask mandate is that nobody will follow them anyway. We won't comply! This needs to continue! The state knows they don’t have the power to force this on us, which is why they’re not even threathening penalties. This ends when we say it ends. We need normal now!
